Gulf Coast DOTNET Users Group (GCDNUG) wants your participation!

Interested in learning more about Microsoft's .NET Technology? Come attend a meeting. GCDNUG meets quarterly and has presentations that are for the beginner as well as the advanced .NET Developer. From the student to the seasoned professional GCDNUG has something for each of you.

Right now we are cutting our teeth trying to make an organization that will benefit the hard core IT Professionals on the Gulf Coast in the Northwest Florida, Southern Alabama, & Southern Mississippi Area. Your help and participation are needed.

GCNUG is non-profit and run by volunteers. Your feedback and suggestions are welcome.

If GCDNUG can garner large numbers of attendees to our meetings we can attract high quality local, regional, and possibly national seminar speakers.

» August 2015 Meeting

In this meeting we will taking a look at some Asynchronous programming by Keith. In this fast paced no one can wait more than a second world, the last thing you wnat is for you app to seem slow, hung up, or non-responsive. Keith will go over the Async/Await functionality to allow you app to continue being responsive even if additional data is still being loaded or processed in the background.

This month join MVP and Raygun Community Evangelist Russ Fustino as he shares insights into the trials, tribulations and joy of building the Endorsed Jethro Tull App. The app is now published for Android nadiOS, WIndows Store and Windows Phone. How did he do it? Is Xamarin Forms the real deal? Russ will close with showing his error reporting built into the app with proactive email support. See how he used Raygun during the developement cycle to help debug errors and some weird bugs.
